Elmo voice Kevin Clash slapped with fifth lawsuit

A fifth man has come forward with a new underage sex lawsuit against Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo.

The man, Kevin Kiadii, was 16 at the time of the alleged encounter and is now a 25 year-old makeup artist. Like those who have previously accused Clash, Kiadii says he met Clash in a gay chat room looking for friends and answers to questions about his still-confused sexual identity.

Kiadii says Clash sent a limo to pick him up in Brooklyn and bring him to Clash’s luxury apartment on the Upper West Side. Kiadii says he had no idea that the man he was visiting was the voice of Elmo, and that he saw him four or five times over the course of a month, before Clash stopped calling and the gifts (music, flowers, and chocolate) stopped showing up. Kiadii also says that Clash, 43 at the time of the alleged encounter, lied and said he was 28 at the time.

“I would go to his [Clash’s] apartment in the Upper West Side and the doorman would buzz me up at all hours,” Kiadii tells Daily Mail. “I look young now and I’m sure I looked a lot younger than my years then. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the first underage boy to go up there. I just feel like everyone was in on it.”

Clash’s lawyers still maintain his innocence.

“The lawsuit is without merit and we will vigorously defend the case and Mr. Clash’s reputation,” his attorney Michael Berger said.
