Man launches Kickstarter for Kenny Loggins to play in his living room

Earlier this month we witnessed a guy raise over $50,000 on Kickstarter to make potato salad. Starting today, another guy is attempting to raise $30,000 to host a “private jam sesh” with Kenny Loggins.

He’s already raised $320, which far exceeds the market value for a Kenny Loggins concert. It’s now starting to seem like irony might actually kill the crowdfunding movement.

According to the Kickstarter page, created by Erick M. Sanchez,

“If I can raise $30K, Kenny Loggins, Mr. Danger Zone, will fly to DC and play a private show in my living room. He’ll bring a few friends to lay down some tracks, but I need some cash to make this happen. If you’re looking to make a dream come true, put your money wear your ears are and drop some cash. Don’t do it for me. Don’t do it for Kenny. Do it for America.”

If you’re one of the first 50 people to donate $300, you’ll secure a seat in Sanchez’s house for the show, putting you right in the heart of the Danger Zone.
