Lindsey Graham has never sent an email
Republican Lindsay Graham does not have to worry about becoming mired in any sort of personal email scandal in the near future. The senior senator from South Carolina not only doesn’t have a personal email account, he says he’s never sent an email before in his life.
Graham revealed the information while speaking with Chuck Todd on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about Hillary Clinton’s exclusive use of a privately operated email account to conduct business as secretary of state. When Graham was asked whether he had a personal email account, his response left Todd chuckling:
“I don’t email. No, you can have every email I’ve ever sent. I’ve never sent one,” the 59-year-old said.
“I don’t know what that makes me,” the 12-year U.S. senator added.
Definitely completely relatable and not out of touch with the realities of modern living!
Graham later explained to Bloomberg’s David Weigel that he simply prefers to talk on the phone, and has “tried not to have a system where I can just say the first dumb thing that comes to my mind.”
He’s already got the senate floor for that.
