Fire extinguisher factory burns down
A fire extinguisher factory in Chicago caught fire on Thursday night. The three alarm fire was as dangerous as it was ironic.
It took 156 firefighters all night to contain the ironic blaze. As the warehouse was too far from a reliable water source, firefighters had to space out six trucks in order to pump water on to the fire.
A section of the building collapsed, and a HazMat team was called in out of fear that some of the extinguisher chemicals might be toxic because of the fire. The request was canceled at around 4 a.m.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
