Ted Cruz says he stopped listening to rock music after 9/11
Ted Cruz claims that he stopped listening to rock music after 9/11. At least, that’s what the Presidential [chuckle] candidate [chuckle] and future member of Obamacare said in Tuesday’s interview with “CBS This Morning.”
Co-host Gayle King asked Cruz what he does with his free time, other than gawk at cows made of butter. And, in hopes of appearing human rather than a corporate cyborg powered by hate and stupidity, he explained that he listens to music. But only the patriotic kind. He explains:
“You know, music is interesting. I grew up listening to classic rock, and I’ll tell you sort of an odd story. My music tastes changed on 9/11. And it’s a very strange — I actually intellectually find this very curious. But on 9/11, I didn’t like how rock music responded. And country music collectively, the way they responded, it resonated with me. And I have to say, it just as a gut level — I had an emotional reaction that says, ‘These are my people.’ And so ever since 2001, I listen to country music.”
So there you have it. One more reason not to vote for Ted Cruz.
