How most musicians die, organized by genre

Dianna Kenny is exploring various bleak stats about the how long most pop musicians live (they don’t all die at 27, it turns out), and how most of them actually die. Here’s a chart from the latter article, organizing cause of death by genre.

To the extent that you can actually take this data as meaningful (correlation ≠ causality, obviously), if you’re a blues musician, you might want to cut back on eating cheeseburgers every night, and folk and jazz musicians might want to get their moles checked out.
