Here’s audio of Trump bragging about walking in on naked beauty pageant contestants

“The Howard Stern Show” is a treasure trove for archival clips of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump acting like a rutting pig when it comes to discussing women. Lord knows we’ve been posting questionable snippets from the archives for the better part of a year.

In the wake of Friday’s bombshell hot mic “Access Hollywood” footage, in which Trump essentially brags about getting away with sexual assault because of his fame, on Saturday CNN unearthed more old “Stern” gems. One of the most disturbing segments comes from an appearance in 2005, when Trump brags about how he can get away with just walking in on beauty pageant contestants while they were changing and obliquely references to having sex with them.

Trump basically admits to sleeping with Miss Universe and Miss USA contestants without actually saying it, like when Artie Lange asked Trump to name the first letter of the countries where pageant contestants were from and Trump responds with “How many letters are there?”

And when “Stern” news anchor Robin Quivers asked if Trump was worried about the conflict of interest regarding having sex with pageant contestants, Trump boasted, “It’s the kind of thing you worry about later — you tend to think about the conflict a little bit later on.”

Perhaps the most disturbing part of the conversation was when Trump bragged about getting to walk in on contestants while they were in the changing room.

“Well, what you could also say is that, as the owner of the pageant, it’s your obligation to do that,” Trump said, before discussing how he got away with going backstage when the contestants were naked.

“Well, I’ll tell you the funniest is that before a show, I’ll go backstage and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it,” Trump said. “You know, I’m inspecting because I want to make sure that everything is good.”

“You know, the dresses. ‘Is everyone okay?’ You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody okay?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that. But no, I’ve been very good,” he added.

So Trump is essentially bragging about how he is violating the pageant contestants’ privacy and boundaries by walking in on them in a space provided for them to change their clothes.

This sounds awful on its own, but it bolsters an already disturbing pattern established by the Republican nominee’s remarks that fame allows him to just grab women “by the pussy.”
