Amber Rose says she wouldn’t date a bisexual man

Today, in bad news for bisexual men who want to date anti-slut-shaming activist and noted hot woman Amber Rose: She’s not interested.

In an appearance on a Facebook Live segment attached to the radio show “Loveline,” the model and former stripper seemed taken by surprise when a fan asked if she’d ever date a man who’s into men.

Via The Daily Beast:

“Would you ever date a bisexual guy?” was the discussion question, submitted to Rose via Facebook Live.

“No,” Rose responded, almost immediately. “Personally—no judgment—I wouldn’t be comfortable. I just wouldn’t be comfortable with it and I don’t know why.”

When pressed, Rose said it’s possible she’d get jealous when he’s out with his male friends:

“I think it’s amazing when a guy is bisexual and he’s comfortable with it. But in my personal life, in my sex life, in who I choose to love, I just think that I would think about it too much…Maybe I’m not secure enough to be with a man that likes other men because I would feel like when he’s out with his boys, it’s just more of a moment.”

Because straight men never flirt with anyone else when they’re out with their friends. Rose promised to revisit the subject later, saying she “can’t fully articulate it right now.”

That irrational aversion Rose described probably comes from living in a society that’s much more accepting of bisexuality in women than in men. In our dumb, male-slanted culture, bisexual women are awesome sluts who want to fulfill men’s threesome fantasies, whereas bisexual men are just closeted gays. This myth was famously propagated on “Sex and the City” when Carrie mused, “I’m not even sure bisexuality exists. I think it’s just a layover on the way to Gaytown.” (And people say that show was woke.)

Of course, Rose can date whoever she likes, but as an advocate against sexual stigma, not to mention an out and proud bisexual herself, she might want to examine where this attitude stems from. Not to mention, if you’re a woman who likes men and, um, trying stuff, the elusive MMF threesome should be at the top of your sexual bucket list, but whatever, more for me.
