Trump attacks CNN reporter, refuses to answer question: ‘You are fake news’
Donald Trump spent a portion of his first press conference as president-elect denigrating the media, reserving particular scorn for BuzzFeed and CNN, who published reports Tuesday of unverified intelligence alleging he is in the pocket of the Russian government and that Vladimir Putin has video of him engaging in water sports with Russian sex workers.
“They are going to face the consequences,” Trump said ominously of BuzzFeed, which he also referred to as “a flaming pile of garbage.” If that doesn’t sound enough like some Eastern Soviet Bloc shit to you, his exchange with CNN’s Jim Acosta should send a chill down any journalist’s spine.

“Mr. President-elect, since you are attacking our organization,” Acosta said. “Can you give us a chance to ask a question, sir?”
“No, not you,” Trump replied. “Your organization is terrible. Quiet. Quiet.” Acosta refused to be silenced, however, and Trump responded by belittling him as though he were a court jester. “Don’t be rude,” Trump said. “I’m not going to give you a question. You are fake news.”
Take note, media. Don’t publish anything critical of the new president, or you’ll be shut down. That’s what a “free press” looks like in the Trump administration.
UPDATE: Steve Kopack of CNBC tweeted that according to Acosta, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer warned him he would be tossed out of any future conferences should he attempt to ask the president elect a question again.
.@Acosta says incoming WH press sec Spicer told him that if he tries to ask Trump a question again during the presser, he’d be tossed out

It goes without saying that this doesn’t set a very good precedent for any news organizations attempting to hold the White House accountable for its actions over the next four years.
