Rose McGowan vows to sic Justice Department on hackers who stole her nude photos and sex tape
Actress, director and free spirit Rose McGowan became the victim of a large celebrity photo hack in 2016 that’s been dubbed “The Fappening Part Two” after a similar hack was carried out in 2014. Materials stolen from her allegedly include nude photos and a sex tape. Now the outspoken feminist has vowed to take her revenge on the “hacker boys” by reporting them to the Department of Justice, and possibly some other ways TBD.
In an interview with Gossip Cop published Sunday, McGowan said “I’m going to go to the Department of Justice” in reference to the hacked materials. She also tweeted a vaguer and therefore more ominous promise of revenge that feels more “Quentin Tarantino heroine” than “lawyered up celebrity”:
Hey little hacker boys, Mama is coming and she hits hard pic.twitter.com/mVBSkRIH8p

Other victims of the hack include Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried.
McGowan’s warning may have some weight behind it, as Ryan Collins, the man behind the 2014 hack, was found guilty of felony computer hacking in October 2016 and sentenced to 18 months in prison. Considering what mama has in store for them, prison could turn out to be a best case scenario.
