Geraldo Rivera uses congressional shooting to suck up to Trump
By this point, we’ve all accepted the fact that social media is going to be a shit geyser in the wake of Wednesday morning’s shooting at a congressional baseball practice, which left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and at least three others wounded. The competition for the worst tweet about mass shooting in Alexandria, Virginia, is stiff, but damned if Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera isn’t determined to pull out a win.
The shameless sycophant used the shooting to suck up to President Trump with the most tone deaf birthday greeting ever.
Happy birthday @POTUS . Sorry your day began with this violence. But it looks like all the good guys are going to be ok.

It’s true that Wednesday is the president’s 71st birthday. That being said, is it anyone’s first thought that they feel bad for the President Trump because he has to deal with a tragedy on his birthday? He’s the president, he signed up for this. No one cares that he can’t blow out a single candle on a cupcake because he has to do his job.
Also, who are the “good guys” in this scenario? The George Washington University Hospital confirmed that it admitted two shooting victims in critical condition. We don’t know if they’re going to be okay. Are they the bad guys? When’s the last time you heard someone over the age of 10 refer to people as “good guys” and “bad guys?”

Brace yourself for the bad takes, kids. They’re probably going to get worse.
