‘Fox & Friends’ crudely reminds audience that Jared Kushner is Jewish

Shout out to Mediaite editor Jon Levine for catching this unfortunate typo on the “Fox and Friends” chyron Wednesday morning. During a segment on the meeting Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner held with a Kremlin-connected lawyer, the ticker features a nod to the president’s son-in-law’s Orthodox Jewish heritage.

It’s probably just an autocorrect gaffe, rather than a Fox News’ producers’ anti-Semitic Freudian slip, or a dog-whistle to alt-right creeps, but it’s an awkward nickname to give the Trump administration member tasked with bringing peace to the Middle East.
