Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn’s nude photos leak online

Given the number of alleged affairs that Tiger Woods had during his marriage to Elin Nordegren, it would be easy to imagine that there are few people who haven’t seen the scandal-ridden golfer in the buff at this point — nor would there be many people who would want to. But that didn’t stop the sleazy folks at Celebrity Jihad from posting nude photos of Woods and his ex-girlfriend, pro skier Lindsey Vonn, on their website.

The images, which are from a few years back — from between 2013 and 2015, when the couple was dating — were hacked from Vonn’s phone. And both athletes are already preparing to do legal battle with the site in order to have them removed. “It is an outrageous and despicable invasion of privacy for anyone to steal and illegally publish private intimate photos,” a rep for Vonn told People. “Lindsey will take all necessary and appropriate legal action to protect and enforce her rights and interests. She believes the individuals responsible for hacking her private photos as well as the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law.”

Woods and Vonn weren’t the only celebrities targeted in this latest hacking scandal; photos of Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart, Katharine McPhee and Stella Maxwell were also posted. For his part, Woods has already sicked attorney Michael Holtz on the site, threatening to sue if the website does not immediately take down the images.

While that’s all well and good, the bigger issue is that, well, this is the internet. So once the photos were posted anywhere, it’s easy for anyone with an internet connection to download and post the photos elsewhere. In other words: the internet never forgets.

Unfortunately for Woods, this is just the latest bump in what has been a pretty rocky road for the disgraced golfer over the past few months. In May, he was arrested for DUI near his home in Jupiter, Florida — with a sobriety test that went viral:

Woods later issued an apology regarding the incident, taking full responsibility for his actions, but swearing that “that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.”

A few weeks later, golf’s former golden boy — who was faced with the possibility of losing custody of his kids — checked himself into rehab for what was described as an addiction to prescription pills.

After all the many golf records he broke and set at such an early age, who would’ve thought that Woods’ ultimate legacy would lie with what was going on beneath his khakis.
