Ted Cruz wants you to believe he didn’t jack off to that porn tweet

Ted Cruz showed up on CNN Thursday to ostensibly discuss tax reform, but the only thing anyone is going to remember is his awkward explanation for why his official account liked a stepmom porn video in the wee hours of the morning.

Cruz argued that the Twitter like “wasn’t malicious” and was just a “screw-up” resulting from a staffer “accidentally pressing the wrong button.”

“It was not me,” Cruz told Dana Bash.

Spoken like a man who was definitely cranking one out at 2 a.m. and got busted.

Cruz declined to name the “staffer” publicly but said that his camp was dealing with the issue “internally.”

Uh huh.

As if we as a nation haven’t suffered enough, Bash brought up how the GOP senator defended a Texas state anti-sodomy law banning vibrators, butt plugs, and most other sex toys. The way Cruz tells it, he’s made his peace with dildos.

Here’s the exchange, verbatim.

BASH: I can’t believe I’m going to ask you this, but you’re officially saying Ted Cruz is okay with people buying sex toys?

CRUZ: I am saying that consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want in their bedrooms. The media and the left seem obsessed with sex. Let people do what they want!

He told the same thing to Curtis Sliwa when he was on the campaign trail in 2016.
