Kimmel to Senator Cassidy: ‘You got caught with your G-O-Penis out’

Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel hit back at Senator Bill Cassidy, who spent the morning on cable TV batting back at the late-night host’s charges that the Louisiana senator’s Obamacare-repeal bill strips millions of Americans of healthcare benefits and skyrockets premiums. Cassidy was joined by a chorus of conservatives, ranging from Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade to New Jersey gangster Chris Christie, who leaned on the “Hollywood elitist” and “comedians should stick to comedy”-type crutches, but Kimmel took them all on fairly easily.

“I don’t want to turn this into a Kanye-and-Taylor-Swift-type-situation,” Kimmel explained to his in-studio audience, “but when Senator Cassidy was on my show in May he told me he believed that every American family, regardless of income, should be able to get quality healthcare… Sadly the bill he unveiled he was not sincere.”

Kimmel again pointed out the number of nonpartisan health institutions that have criticized Cassidy’s bill (“You got caught with your G-O-Penis out”) as well as the spinelessness of Kilmeade, a “phony little creep” who’s always kissing his ass:

He follows me on Twitter. He asks me to write a blurb for his book, which I did. He calls my agent, looking for projects. He’s dying to be a member of the Hollywood elite — the only reason he’s not a member of the Hollywood elite is because nobody will hire him to be one, and the reason I’m talking about this is because my son had an open heart surgery, has to have two more, and I learned there are kids with no insurance in the same situation. I don’t get anything out of this, Brian, you phony little creep. Oh, I’ll pound you when I see you.
