Dictator’s daughter caught taking selfies while dad gives UN speech on genocide
While Azerbaijan’s president was addressing the UN General Assembly on war crimes perpetrated between his country and Armenia in the early ’90s, his daughter was caught on video posing for glam selfies on her phone.
Leyla Aliyeva’s impromptu photo shoot took place while her father, President Ilam Aliyev, was accusing Armenia of committing genocide against his people in the Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1992. The speech was streamed live, so the entire world was treated to the 33-year-old’s dramatic pouts and poses.
“Armenia committed a war crime, killing 613 peaceful residents, including 106 women and 63 children.” President Aliyev said of the “Khodjaly massacre.” “Armenia committed genocide against Azerbaijanis in Khodjaly.”
Armenia disputes this claim.
Sure, Leyla should learn to read the room, but what else do you expect from the rich spawn of a dictator?
