Trump wants ‘to compare IQ tests’ with Tillerson
If you’ve ever had the misfortune to hear words spill out of Donald Trump’s mouth, or read any of his typo-ridden tweets, you’ve probably thought to yourself: “Wow, this guy is not very intelligent.” Which made it both gratifying — and horrifying — to hear that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson thinks the president is “a fucking moron.” But President Moron isn’t laughing. In an exclusive interview with Forbes, he said he’s ready to go head to head with Tillerson to compare smarts.
After showing off the gaudy goods he has had installed in the White House to Forbes editor Randall Lane — including oil paintings of Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt — Trump got down to the real business at hand: bragging about his imagined accomplishments, and that whole “moron” debacle. As Lane writes:
He boasts, with a dose of hyperbole that any student of FDR or even Barack Obama could undercut: “I’ve had just about the most legislation passed of any president, in a nine-month period, that’s ever served. We had over 50 bills passed. I’m not talking about executive orders only, which are very important. I’m talking about bills.”
He counterpunches, in this case firing a shot at Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who reportedly called his boss a moron: “I think it’s fake news, but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”
Yes, Donald. We can, too. And it won’t be you. Unless you can convince Vladimir Putin to tamper with the results again. If that doesn’t work, you could always revive that whole “rigged!” narrative.
President Man-Baby is reportedly steaming that Tillerson has not denied that he called our moronic leader just that. Last week, NBC reported that POTUS spent hours “fuming” about Morongate after the story broke and wants to replace the Secretary of State with CIA director Mike Pompeo. For his part, Tillerson has made it clear that he’s not planning to leave the White House any time soon — which doesn’t mean that Trump doesn’t have other plans for him. If Tillerson does end up getting ousted, we can only hope he’ll demand that IQ Test Showdown happen as part of his exit interview.
