Ivanka Trump laughs off reporter asking about Roy Moore sex abuse claims
While GOP senators have no problem disavowing Alabama Republican senate candidate Roy Moore after allegations that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old, presidential adviser Ivanka Trump is avoiding reporters like the plague. According to Talking Points Memo reporter Alice Ollstein, the first daughter laughed when asked about the accusations against Moore and claimed that she didn’t know enough to comment.
“I chased Ivanka down a Senate hallway to try to get a comment on Roy Moore,” Ollstein wrote. “She laughed and said she’d been in meetings all day and didn’t know enough to weigh in.”
Laughter is a really weird response when asked about a GOP candidate who is alleged to have had inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old when he was a public servant in his 30s.

Other reporters noted that Ivanka was refusing to answer questions following her meeting with Republicans as she exited through the Senate chamber.

That’s gotta be a hard L for Ivanka to take after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell showed substantially more backbone when asked about the Senate hopeful’s alleged history of sexual misconduct.
