Billionaire Bruce Wayne wants the government to raise his taxes.
According to Forbes’ tally of wealthy fictional people, Bruce Wayne has about $6.5 billion, most of it from his family’s company, Wayne Enterprises.
And just like his Batman alter ego, Wayne cares about social justice, spending much of his free time and loose change on various philanthropic efforts.
Now, facing the growing Occupy Wall Street movements, Wayne, in his Batman costume, has come out in support of higher taxes for the rich. Or that’s what he does in deviant art contributor Anjin Anhut’s rendition.
One wonders if other well-heeled superheroes will do the same. I’m looking at you, Iron Man — and your estimated $3 billion.
