The Black Keys return with a new single and a hilarious new video today.
Along with the Foo Fighters, The Black Keys might be one of the only bands currently playing rock who are actually funny. And I don’t mean they attempt their own nerdy brand of humor that they think is hilarious but everyone else thinks is embarrassing—they’re actually funny.
The Black Keys return with their first single “Lonely Boy” from the forthcoming album “El Camino” today. “El Camino” announced a few weeks ago with a legitimately funny used car salesman pitch. Now, the band releases their first single with a teaser video that includes nothing but what looks like a car-rental worker dancing awkwardly and lip-synching in front of a nondescript sign that says “office.”
“El Camino” is out out December 6, (the same day as the new Roots album) and was produced by Danger Mouse. Check out “Lonely Boy” below.
