Well, someone had to do it.
The ever affable Bill Murray stopped by David Letterman to promote “Moonrise Kingdom” last night. Shockingly, he had a major announcement – that he, too, would have a touring hologram stage show. He even shows us a few of the awesome things that the hologram will do. Really! He does.
With word that there may be a Jimi Hendrix hologram stage show in the making now is the perfect time for holographic imagery. If Murray is on board, you know the hipsters are going to love it. Who’s to stop The Smiths from getting back together (as holograms)? What about seeing The White Stripes back together again (a Meg hologram, perhaps)? What about that really banging chick from Glee? Not as a hologram, I just wanted to bring her up.
Take a look at the video yourself. When Murray’s hologram finally goes on tour, of course D&T will be the first to let you know.
