The campaign for tiny indie movie “The Dark Knight Rises” continues, as yet another trailer for the next installment in the “Batman” trilogy was released today. Newcomer director Christopher Nolan (whose last screen outing “Inception” was a massive commercial and critical failure) returns to direct a cast of unknowns such as Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, and Michael Caine.
The understated and demure trailer highlights this Christian Bale fellow quite well and we here at D&T hope to see him break out of the art house crowd and onto bigger and better things. One can only hope that the limited budget doesn’t affect the quality of the film – it surely has a lot riding on it and probably won’t fare too well in theaters.
If it just so happens to be playing in a theater near you (which it probably won’t, given its limited release) maybe take a friend and go and see it. It seems like the kind of thing that will be in the theaters one week and out the next. Here’s the trailer:
