Eric Wareheim announces Black Moth Super Rainbow’s Kickstarter album

Jul 12, 2012

Black Moth Super Rainbow’s latest album, “Cobra Juicy,” will be self-released and funded via Kickstarter, where fans will be able to purchase the LP in “actual mask form—a latex rictus modeled after the possessed citrus on the cover,” with music on a USB tooth jammed into the grinning maw.

Contribute $10,000 and BMSR’s vocalist Tobacco will throw you your own roller disco party. Really.

We fly you and a guest out to Pittsburgh, PA and put you up for a night in a hotel without neighborhood peeping toms. You get the rink to yourself for 3 hours or invite a bunch of friends, all with free skate rentals. All-you-can-eat Pizza, a “build your own sundae” bar, and a TOBACCO show from the DJ booth as your backdrop for the night. Deliverable in the next 12 months. If you’d prefer to do this in another city, we can try to work it out through email, but no guarantees since all rinks have different policies. (send us an email first if you’re already local) PLUS you get everything in the $200 COBRA JUICY GANG tier. (U.S. ONLY PLEASE)

Watch Eric Wareheim of “Tim & Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job” pitch BMSR’s Kickstarter campaign to the masses.
