The last time R. Kelly was on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” he was assuming the role of Sam Cooke, crooning out “When a Woman Loves.” This time around, Uncle R moves into the sensuous ’70s and ’80s for inspiration on “Write Me Back,” the sequel to 2010′s “Love Letter.”

When he stopped by again at “Late Night” last night, he played the post-breakup anthem “Feeling Single.” As usual, the crowd is hanging off Kelly’s every move, like that hat toss at 1:27.
