
These images of a giant cat scan look like they must be staged, especially with the cute leopard fleece blanket. But sadly, they’re not. Those are the limp paws of Fafa, a 17-year-old lioness who had her ovaries and uterus removed, and is now experiencing bleeding and seizures. Her vets worry she has liver damage caused from a tumor, and at the time of this photo were putting her through a 3-hour-long session of CT scans on her chest, skull and abdomen at a veterinary clinic in Brasilia Zoo.
