Justin Vernon – he of the beard, the comfy sweater, and the Bon Iver band – has written a new song for the The Silver Lake Chorus, a chorus (duh) of men and women from Silverlake, CA (second duh). Hence the name. Journalism, folks!

Not only is the track very fancy, but it is also most definitely a Bon Iver song right down to the layered falsetto and unmistakable vocal patterns that sound exactly – and I’m conjuring up the full English Lit class here – like a warm fireplace during a snowy night. Bam. Metaphors, motherfucker. Them shits are beautiful.
