
An Italian singer wrote a song in gibberish. While that previous sentence is neither newsworthy nor interesting, consider the following: he wrote the song in gibberish that he wanted to sound American.
The results are a) incredibly catchy and b) a very interesting look into what the rest of the world perceives as “sounding American.” Many of us (especially those in big cities) are familiar with what it’s like to listen to a conversation in another language. This video is what it’s like to listen to American without understanding it.
