Watch Ron Paul delegates revolt on the floor of the RNC

Last night at the RNC as Rick Santorum talked all about his hands and Ann Romney attempted to move the conservative conversation away from the constant rape talk by declaring “I love you women!,” Ron Paul delegates staged a very loud, very visible revolt on the Convention floor.

Even though Paul had won enough delegates to have his name called in the nomination roll call the Committee authorities refused to acknowledge him, and new rules adopted this year against many members’ wishes meant that entire groups of delegates were barred from participating altogether, to keep challengers from interfering with the nominee’s coronation.

Below, watch a bunch of Maine delegates for Paul who were dismissed from participating stage a revolt against the RNC. Yelena Vorobyov, delegate from MN who was barred from participating, told Mother Jones, “They stole votes. They stole delegates. They refused to send busses for our delegates. It’s a totalitarian process. This is not democracy. It’s a really sad day for us.”

As a Republican for Ron Paul, I agree with what the woman in the video said,"after this Republicans should be very worried about Obama winning." Romney want's to let the oil company's pollute our country, uncontrolled, NO.I don't know if I will just sit out the vote, or switch party's.

Who are these guys kidding. Mitt flop Romney is all the Republicans have left. Ron Paul's talk about cutting defense spending had him booted immediately! Republicans are total fakes, especially Romney Republicans.

Quoting Mitt Romney: "I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country". "I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, that we should sustain and support it..and I sustain and support that law, and the right of a woman to make that choice."

    Where is he now? Guess.

How about fighting in the Vietnam War? In 2007, Romney — a supporter of the war in Vietnam said:

“I longed in many respects to actually be in Vietnam and be representing our country there, and in some ways it was frustrating not to feel like I was there as part of the troops that were fighting in Vietnam.”.

    Opps!

That this isn’t what Romney said back in 1994 during his campaign to represent Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate: “I was not planning on signing up for the military. It was not my desire to go off and serve in Vietnam, but nor did I take any actions to remove myself from the pool of young men who were eligible for the draft,”.

    Liar!

Mitt Romney sought and was granted 4 deferments to remove himself from the draft. Really, something only rich people were granted. That figures eh? Romney is a coward and cowardice and deceit is becoming the entire Republican Party.

YouTube: "mitt vs mitt" and see just how spineless a man Romney really is.

Even though I'm a Ron Paul supporter, in a way, I'm happy about this. I was a lifelong Republican until 2008 when I became a Libertarian. With Dr. Paul's announcement that he won't run for reelection, my last tie to the Republican party has now been cut! I will no longer be responsible for helping this bipartisan train wreck pile up.

I'm black and a register independent. I was smart enough to know that Obama wasn't going to be able to change this country. Wasn't going to vote for Obama again. Then the Republicans give it to Mitt. No offense, I have a problem voting for a man whose religion did not recognize me as a human being until the 70's. Ron Paul is a good man. Who I think got shafted.

Okay, so she's JUST NOW realizing that the modern Republican Party is anti-democracy? Hell, "America is NOT A DEMOCRACY! It's a REPUBLIC!" has become one of their mantras. (Hint: look up the terms "democratic republic" and "representative democracy" as they apply to the US form of government.)

dude, the Republican Party works by democratic methods, specifically, grassroots, bottom up, and that is what I was referring to when I said "this is not democracy". Of course I know the US of A is supposed to be a "Republic," though it is far from one in recent history and today. The press doesnt report everything that is stated, btw. They truncate most of what was said. Give me some slack, ok? Good grief, we fought hard on that floor, and that particular day, I had 2 hours of sleep with no caffiene in my brain. I know the difference between DR and RD. If you are not going to say something nice about your fellow fighters in the war of big goverment, then keep your comments to yourself, K? we need to be united.

Ron Paul needs to go independent with his son as vp, or all Ron Paul's supporters should write his name in when they vote.

I'm so sick of the fighting between both parties. I change the channel everytime a political commercial. America needs to realize that the two party system no longer works. I figured out in college that neither was looking at my best interest. One party was pandering to me to make sure I voted. The other just pretended I didn't exist. I'm sorry people lost their jobs in this economy. I lost mine too. I was smart enough to save my money, and back to school and got my masters and found a better one. My mom and grandmother thought me if you get kicked down. U get back up and keep going. To all the people who lost their homes to foreclosure. Next time you buy a home read the fine print. Its at the bottom of the application in small lettering. People in this country need to learn how to take care of themselves, and not depend on the

Wow, the Republicans continue to outdo themselves with their atrocious behaviour…. Unfortunately, not surprised that they'd choose to try to disenfranchise those who aren't standing behind the guy with the money (and who would do anything for money, power, or status).
