Chris Brown is a rapper, singer, and genuinely terrible human being on multiple levels – his arrogance surpassed only by his intense, almost otherworldly stupidity. Not unlike a “bad” character in a children’s movie, Chris seems to revel in his awfulness and apparent ability to embody all that is wrong about our culture.
In 2009 he beat his then-girlfriend Rihanna into a bloody pulp. Here’s a full account of what happened, from the court documents:
Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.’s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.
Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, ‘I’m going to beat the sh— out of you when we get home! You wait and see!’”
Brown looked at her and stated, “You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I’m really going to kill you!”
Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.
Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear.
He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.’s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.
She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers.
So that happened, and then this guy still has a fucking career? The mind reels.
Anyway. So he has a tattoo done, like some people do. But instead of, say, getting a tattoo of Kermit the frog on his ankle or perhaps a rose or bunny rabbit he decides to get a tattoo of what appears to be Rihanna’s bruised and battered face from the night that he nearly killed her.
Here’s the two images side by side, one of the tattoo, the other of Rihanna’s bruised and beaten face taken after the vicious, animal-like attack on her:
“Sources close to” Chris Brown say that it is not of Rihanna. “Sources close to” Chris Brown are fucking abuse deniers.
Who wants to start a petition to make sure this guy never puts out another record or performs another show?

Iesha, nobody is perfect, this is true, but if everyone who ever abused anyone else was given the same justification you're giving him, then we'd be in a lot of trouble. We have moral standards in place so if someone is battered or abused we can hope that their attacker doesn't get away with it. And if he does and then gets a tattoo of it? Well, then hopefully the music business, his fans, and everyone else connected to him in someway have the balls to shun and disown him. And like someone mentioned, even if it's not Rhiana… He's been labeled as an abuser, so why in the world would he get a tattoo of a battered woman if he wasn't trying to flaunt it? that's fucked up on so many levels.

1.) joking about beating the shit out of another girl
2.) throwing a chair through a window
3.) acting like the lesser man in a fight with Drake of all people
4.) screaming– then deleting– tweets at his 'haters'
5.) not once indicating he understands what he did and why it was bad he did it
6.) "Deuces"
7.) getting a tattoo depicting, more or less, this: http://www.gistus.com/gs-c/uploads/2012/09/Rihanna-beaten.jpg
8.) Currently, the list is incomplete but there's more to follow, I guaran-fucking-tee it.

Maybe it's his gimmick I like the tattoo I ain't fond of the blonde hair! Whatever somebody likes his music cuz he still has a career. Michael Jackson touched little boys and I still love his music. Eminem was an addict and his music goes hard. Kobe Bryant is an adulterer and he is an amazing athlete. Now a woman in the hood gets beat up and it ain't national news a woman in the hood gets beat up and murdered everyday and her abusive spouse gets a slap on the wrist and she gets to leave her home go into a dv shelter for a short spell and then be released into an unstable situation. Which 95% of the time she has to go back into the abusive atmosphere because she knows nothing else. Rihanna had enough money to relocate and be safe but that shit was national news fuck her and her face a bravo for Chris Browns new tattoo maybe that's the closure on his guilt for beatin her ass Whatever. His tattoo nor her trauma is important to me. I see kids who are being raped but they can't remove them from the home because there is no proof that is coming from inside the home so excuse me if this rich bitch gets beat up and can so choose to by her own isolated island so she can be safe!

I was raised beaten and abuse emotionally sexually and physically I got over it. It took awhile and I got over it. You are choosing to complain about a woman who got out and turning a blind eye to those who haven't gotten out. She's safe she's fine there is a 7 year old right now contemplating suicide that's who I am focused on. I'm not taking away from her trauma she was beaten up she got over it. You seem to have your feathers ruffled because Chris Brown beat you? IDK but she's fine She put on her big girl panties on and moved on. I'm focused on helping those who can't find their big girl panties. She has hers several pair. Most others don't have theirs. If someone were to get a tat depicting my rape. It would be no skin off my back. I've dealt with that part of my life. That them with it tatted on the. Again she is fine with the tat she has yet to speak on it obviously she has dealt with. So what he got a tat of a stitched up chick. I'm sure you did his tat so you know it's Rihanna. Sorry for not caring about her getting beat up. I can bring myself to care much about it. I was taught there are to sides to every story and everybody gets what they deserve most times at that moment often time later. Again I say she got beat up so what. I got raped so what. Me and Rihanna have moved on and survived I'm focused on the kid who wants to kill herself because she has no other way out. My rapist is sitting in prison at this moment for something he did to another child. Chris Brown served his community service or whatever. Just like Evelyn and Chad I don't care about it I don't Evelyn got her comupance. Rihanna might have gotten hers I don't know. Like I said I've seen worse artwork and I've liked it. It's the same thing with people who get tears tatted on their faces depicting people they have killed he decided to get a face of a stitched up girl. I've seen his other tats this is tame compared to them. I like his tats Call me twisted but it's his expression and I'm not mad at him for it. Some people cut themselves he tatted himself. Whatever maybe it's his way of paying homage to the guilt and not being able to get back with the girl. Rihanna got a bad girl persona after the situation he began to tat himself if he makes a song about it I will laugh about it. I just can't bring myself to care when there are kids being raped and murdered in my own backyard but you can scream and holler about Rihanna get your ass up and save a child who is actually in danger. I don't care about Rihanna and her face I care about the kid that I can save.

Again I say So What? Do you know DV shelters will deny a woman entry if they come back too many times. What about that tell Rihanna to open her home for DV victims then I'll gain some respect. After getting beat up Rihanna immediately got a whole new gimmick and persona so no I don't give a fuck. I still think it was a publicity stunt. People have done crazier things for attention so I don't care she's fine with getting beat and I am fine with her getting beat up.

I have tried to empathize with adults but it's a bit harder for me to do that. I believe adults can choose to protect themselves when they are ready. I'm not a normal person I can't relate to adults I never have been able to I find them evil. But kids are the ones who I empathize with easier and I try and save them IDk shoot me I don't care about Rihanna nor Chris Brown they are both weird twisted and rich.

The bigger picture is that she is a survivor of DV. A SURVIVOR. The bigger picture would be to pat her on her back for dusting herself off and moving on. The smaller picture is you giving this clown more attention than he deserves for a tattoo. Don't call attention to the fact that it is a battered woman that's like publishing the work of a serial killer. He is a narcissist this is text book narcissism. If you really wanna see a bigger picture pat Rihanna on her back and ignore Chris Brown. Like I said I like the tattoo not because it resembles Rhianna because it's a cool tattoo. I don't care who it resembles. He will get more record sales just because of the attention brought to this tat. He was hoping for a bad reaction. I'm not giving it to him. Now all this negative attention for the tattoo is ultimately going to bring up an issue for Rihanna that she will half to more likely revisit and speak out against. If people would have just been like oh cool tat it wouldn't be this bad of an issue. But hey you did exactly right gave him attention that he wanted and he will ultimately benefit from it. I am glad Rihanna was able to survive the situation she went through. I'm more concerned on her helping others survive. SHRUGS AGAIN I DON'T CARE!

HAHAHHAHA ok now you did make me laugh… you think THAT is a good tattoo? Subject matter of the tat aside, it looks like it was done with a prison tat gun by a scratcher! So now, not only are you a complete idiot who probably scars these poor kids worse than they already were when they were irresponsibly allowed to be anywhere near you, but given that you think THAT'S good tattooing, covered in shitty tat's!? But hey, you having given the description of the awesome "penis-stilletto" tat you said you have makes sense… actually, that pretty much sums you up.

Yeah I have my skeletons but the fact of the matter is my take on art isn't the same as your take on art. Just as you are sitting attempting to insult me and throw stones at me and I guess attacking my intelligence and my ability to mentor children has nothing to do with me and everything to do with you. You have some how run out of intelligent conversation and you are now trying to throw insults at me. Which is fine because they are all grains of salt. You cannot force people to think like you do it is not at all possible. I don't believe that him nor Rihanna should be given much more attention that they deserve. 1.) I like the tattoo. 2.) I respect Rihanna for moving on when the rest of the world can't 3.) I am a twisted individual in my own right 4.) I have successfully mentored several kids into survival and into healthy outlets. 5.) I applaud Chris Brown for getting a healthy outlet even if it is tattooing creepy pictures on himself instead of taking it out on women. 6.) I believe you are sadly mistaking if you believe speaking against this text display of narcissism is going to deplete his record sales. If anything it will attract more batterers to buy his for lack of a better word music. 7.) Rihanna should be the one getting a little more credit than he is because she was actually a bit stronger enough to move on. 8.) There is still a child somewhere near you getting abused and you are still worried about a tattoo that you neither paid for or permanently scarred yourself with. 9.) I am not going to keep bringing up Chris Brown beating up Rihanna because it gives him the attention he needs to feed his narcissism 10.) I don't care care about her getting beat up I more concerned with her survival and how she is handling it and if she is using her survival to empower others. So yaeh she got beat up she dealt with it and she moved on Horray for her. He served his sentence and he got a tattoo so what?

If you can't move on from that trauma they have places for you. JAIL and PRISON GRAVES REHABS and ASYLUMS. Period they don't care they want you over it so you can benefit society. Either way they will have a way for you to benefit. Because they will get paid regardless of where you are or what you do no one cares! #coldworld So no I don't care And I also bid you adieu but I have so much more to work on tonight. I also bid you good night hope you are being a productive member of society you have so much time to argue with me on FB about an issue that still has nothing to do with you. Go volunteer at a DV shelter and see exactly what I am talking about I haven't the time to spend on people who don't want to help themselves. No your all too focused on this ridiculous cry for attention you people will learn eventually this boy is going to cause a serious blow to her recovery just from the attention that this is getting! She might not have thought it a big deal if it didn't get this much attention. It's not that I don't care. It's that I care more about the girls recovery and survival than I do about the actual tattoo the actual abuse ect I hate for this bastard to get anymore attention than he deserves for this he already didn't get the proper amount of consequences for my liking and while he was doing his community service he was signing autographs and posing for paparazzi. Ucallme Tallin Chris and Rihanna have discussed his new tattoo that people assumed was of her — and laughed at the reaction it received, a source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY! Read on for all the inside scoop. When Chris Brown stepped out on Sept. 1 and debuted his new neck tattoo, a lot of people presumed that it was an image of Rihanna, as it appeared to be a woman with scars on her face who looked similar to his popstar ex-girlfriend. One person who didn’t think it was Rihanna on Chris’ neck? Rihanna, herself. A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the image isn’t of Rihanna, at all. “Naw man, that’s [isn't] Rihanna tatted on [Chris] no matter how much [you all are] trying to make it seem. Sorry, it [isn't] her,” our source says. “[Chris] loves women and you know he loves Ri, but come on now, he [isn't] about to tat a b**** on him. That [isn't] how he rolls.” Our source also told us that Chris and Rihanna had talked about the tattoo and laughed off the drama surrounding it! “He and Ri already talked about it and they both laughed at how stupid and a big deal everybody [is] making of the s***. She [knows] it [isn't] her and never thought it was her,” our source tells us, adding, “She [thinks] it’s hot though – she [thinks] everything he [does] is hot. She [loves] him, without a doubt.”

Oh yeah the art work had to be good enough for someone to assume that it was someone's battered face. Yes I cannot prove that it is anyone's battered face I think it is art a way of expression. People have their different views of what art is or what it means I value expression my take on it is different than your is. You don't like it I do. Some people like bluegrass I don't care for it. I like the tattoo I don't care who's face it is. I am a multifaceted person. My mentoring face is different than my taste for art. So yeah I like the tattoo. So What's your. You somehow are getting your facts confused with personal opinion. I embrace the fact that you think I am a poor excuse for a person. That is your opinion. I embrace the fact that you don't like the tattoo. I embrace the fact that you would rather focus on the fact that this tattoo resembles a battered Rihanna. You somehow in all of your faux intellect cannot get pass the point that I don't see this tattoo as an issue. Rihanna allegedly doesn't have an issue with it who is the real focus by the way. I like the tattoo. I've liked far weirder and darker things in my brain than a tattoo. I'm different I have been since birth so what. I have discussed this with several people in between yesterday and today and because you can't get past the fact that I like the tattoo you can't see my other views. Everybody else thought it weird that I liked the tattoo but all the other people that I held the discussion with understood my thinking of not giving it much thought. I will say it again I like the tattoo. I don't care who it's of. I didn't give him the tattoo so I don't who it is of. I just believe it's either one a way of him expressing himself or a cry for attention and publicity in which fact I like the tattoo but I think he's am ass for trying to exploit Rihanna's pain other than that I don't care I like it. My view of the tattoo has nothing to do with my view of him. Personally I don't like him or his music I neither like Rihannna or her music. I think Chris Brown is a talented performer and I think Rihanna is pretty and a strong enough individual to endure public humiliation and get over it and be able to forgive her abuser. I am a person who can separate my feeling of a person with fact. I see you aren't able to do that but yeah that's what professionals do.

Textbook Narcissism. So what if this is a tattoo of her battered face Her face isn't like this anymore and he isn't abusing her any longer. He in pure batterer form brought up the ugly demon of her past that he caused and flashed a sign over it. "I beat up Rihanna" The way to deal with such buffoonery is to either ignore it or minimize the importance of it. Do Not blow up this pain for her again. You people are truly idiots. Just the attention that this clown is getting for this tattoo is boosting his narcissistic ego. Of course the freaking tattoo looks like her battered face. The outrage that this stupid article is causing is minimizing the fact that Rihanna survived the battle and that she got past the abuse and he knew that when she was able to hug him so he went in got this deplorable tattoo to showcase his "work" and get a bunch of negative attention for it and mask the fact this lady is a Survivor to throw back into her face the pain that he caused her probably setting her back a little. I pray this does not get any more attention that it deserves and I pray to God that Rihanna sees this and is takes on a non nonchalant attitude about it and brushes it off because if she makes a huge deal about it and if the world makes a huge deal about it you will be giving this narcissistic piece of dung exactly what he wants. You gave him the attention he wanted when he beat her up and created the heinous crime and you are giving the same attention he wants for getting this tattoo. Let it roll off your back and ignore his obvious cry for attention. Stop playing into his hands. That's exactly what he wants! STOP THE MADNESS! This tattoo will not only boost his ego but also his record sales. Do exactly what he doesn't want you to do IGNORE THIS CLOWN! So again I say great tattoo Chrissy I love it and I DON'T CARE!

If we ignore it, it just increases the chance that he'll do it again. He has not given ONE reason why we should give him the benefit of the doubt to the fact. The moment we ignore HIM is the moment he'll lose control and beat another girl he's with the way he did Rihanna. Same with any domestic abuser.

Chris and Rihanna have discussed his new tattoo that people assumed was of her — and laughed at the reaction it received, a source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY! She [loves] him, without a doubt.”.

Chris Brown is a piece of shit. But many entertainers are, whether the woman they beat up are famous or not. Is there a petition being sought against Eminem who is an admitted wife beater? or the millions of rock stars accused of similar acts against women who aren't as famous as Rhianna? does they not count because there was no photo made public by TMZ? I am not pro Chris Brown, I just don't understand all of the energy put into trying to chastise him for something that seems to be accepted behavior from rock stars since the beginning of music.

Remember that they nit pick about everything because they have little else better to do, people. I say this as an artist–that design…is hideous. It isn't an abused woman, at least, I agree that it looks like a Sugar skull. The eyebrows have a distinct design pattern, not the bruises of an abused face. If it's meant to look like it even slightly, I'm not impressed because it's just poorly, poorly done, no matter what its meant to be. So much for having money….
So lets not dig up old news and try to call him a monster over a past issue. He's trash for what he did, but Rihanna was the victim, and might know the fucker better than I. If she wants to forgive him and even get back with him, that's her dumb move. Because I don't think he learned a damn lesson. It's people still fans of this douchebag that keep him relevant. And as I've said (below), it's important to keep every man who decides "I can't kick the shit out of any man, so I'll do it to a girl instead" relevant enough so that he feels the pressure not to do it again. EVER.
And please, turn the caps lock off.

People are so unreal, put yourself in the picture. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU FOUND OUT YOUR GIRL/BOYFRIEND WAS CHEATING? WOMEN: It's ok to destroy all of a persons personal property, beat on him, destroy his career, tell his parents and everyone he knows(and even doesn't know) how he is a worthless good for nothing low down whatever whatever when HE cheats… but its not ok when SHE cheats? Open your eyes! The guy was obviously pushed over the edge! You do know she cheated right? He is trying to show you his pain and no one gives a shit. I think THAT's fucked up. He made a mistake yes, but love induced which is what you women do to us! He changed his look cus he is ashamed of himself and feels his heart has been taken away. The tattoo is to remind himself of how ugly a woman can be when the truth comes out! Be fair people.

Besides that, people get mad and hit. It's been a part of American culture since the beginning. I don't understand why everyone is so shocked. Do you really think Rihanna is an innocent girl or are you not paying attention to that either?

As I read through the comments, I notice everyone defending him is black…what's up with that? Just because someone shares your skin color doesn't mean you have to excuse their bad behavior. If it was Eminem who beat a woman, I want to see his ass rot in jail.
Chris Brown is known for beating women and proudly displays this by getting a tattoo of a battered woman on his neck…it does not matter if its Rhianna or not.
Defend him all you like, but what kind of man takes pride in the fact he beats women? My mother taught me that real men don't hit women. For the women that are defending him…you need to get some self esteem if you think this is ok.

There's really no excuse for what he did to Rihanna, but the fact still stands that this wasn't a tattoo of her. It was a tattoo based off of a Dia de los Muertos-themed MAC Cosmetics design (which looks almost exactly alike.)
If you're going to hate this dude for beating on Rihanna, then do that. But to hate him for getting a tattoo of something completely irrelevant and manipulate something that isn't anything, you're just looking for something to be mad at.
Oh and, I'm all for throwing this dude in jail for beating Rihanna. Don't get me wrong. But stop with these obnoxious "THEY SHOULD CASTRATE HIM" comments, as if anything is solved with fighting violence with violence.
