Trick or treat: Paul Ryan sends Obama’s birth certificate to supporters

Paul Ryan hit Birthers with an early Halloween this year—and he totally opted for the trick rather than the treat.

In response to supporters apparently looking to bring back the Birth Certificate issue as another October Surprise before the election, Ryan decided not to prey on the enthusiasm of his excitable supporters, and instead shut them down by shoving Obama’s birth certificate in their faces.

Our buddies at TPM point out that in an email to supporters, Ryan acknowledges the concerns of those who still don’t believe Obama was born in the U.S., and then says:

On April 27, 2011, in response to these criticisms, President Obama released the long form of his birth certificate, which was issued by the Hawaii State Department of Health.

For your review, I have also included an electronic copy of the long form of the President’s birth certificate. I certainly understand the importance of this issue, and I hope you find the information useful.

He then does in fact attach the birth certificate, as if to say, Read it and weep, suckaz.

Whether he realizes that Birtherism is no longer politically expedient or he’s just choosing to side with good old fashioned common sense, it’s refreshing to see a member of team Romney-Ryan not bend to the crazies for once. I’m gonna gulp hard here and say it—let’s all applaud Paul Ryan for doing the right thing.

Paul RYan does the right thing (gulp) and tells birthers to go sniff somewhere else.

Ryan did the right thing if he forwarded the BC published "before" Obama cleaned it up.

An extremely liberal out of work computer expert I hired as a laborer refused to believe what was online about the BC when it first came out. To prove me wrong, he used a forensic program from his grad program on it and about fainted at what he saw. He was astounded that his rather rudimentary program found the layers and other signs of forgery.

The BC is a forgery and anyone not in the Obama/Sorow/Saudi media knows it. Hopefully Ryan's followers will discover it with their own programs or google it to see what others have found. Even the experts hired by Obama refused to certify it as a tue copy of an original.

You make me sad. Even after repeatedly being shown factual evidence, people like you harp on this erroneous nonsense like there is no way you're wrong.

I enjoyed, however, the straw man you created in the second paragraph. As a forensic tech for over fifteen years I feel I can safely call "BS" on that entire "exchange" you describe.

By all means – take this "evidence" you've collected and submit it to every new organization you can find. Hell, Fox news would eat that up with a spoon.

What factual? evidence? If you don't believe the computer grad I quoted, check out the BC analyses online then read Obama's own expert as he dances around the issue to avoid certifying the BC official.

    Pulpit Freedom Sunday Sermon.
I want maximum exposure for this! Please share.

    “Children of The Beast”.
    By Reverend Sam Sewell.
    This sermon and clergyman support.
    “Pulpit Freedom Sunday”.

The full text of Rev. Sewell’s sermon is at the link below.
The overt defiance of the IRS is in the last paragraph.

This weekend (Oct. 7) is “Pulpit Freedom Sunday” in churches across the country. Pastors in pulpits across the country will not only endorse candidates from the pulpit, but will also send the tapes of the services directly to the IRS. Now that’s bold!

Ryan should send them a copy of WND article and pictures showing the ring Obama wears as his wedding band. The pictures show him wearing it in college before he married Michelle and the elaborate Arabic inscription says " there is no god but Allah." Harvard school newspaper jokingly asked him why we wore the wedding ring even though he wasn't married.
