Ah, the Friday before the election! Haven’t we lived through enough muck-raking articles in the last few months? Apparently not because here’s one helluva story from our friends at Mother Jones.
Mitt Romney has a political advisor named – a powerful attorney named Jay Sekulow – who is a major figure behind the American Center for Law and Justice, which sounds like a great place, doesn’t it? I mean, with a name like that you’d think it was where Judge Dredd and Superman high-five each other after catching bad guys all day. It’s actually a front for a right-wing think tank which deals mostly in dismantling civil and human rights in America, like the right to be gay or women to decide when they want to have kids.
They recently opened an outpost of the ACLJ in Zimbabwe, where they are working tirelessly to keep homosexuality outlawed as it has been in that country since 2006. Mother Jones’ Andy Kroll describes the Romney connection succinctly:
This is the message that ACLJ and its leader, Jay Sekulow, Mitt Romney’s friend and adviser, are promoting around the world. Like Sekulow, Romney believes that same-sex marriage should be illegal and he supports amending the US Constitution to define marriage as between a man and woman. But Romney’s ties to evangelical crusaders like the Sekulows undercut his last-ditch pivot to the political center—a move that Romney believes can deliver him the White House.
While Romney would prefer America thinks of him as a freedom-loving guy, he sure is doing everything he can to be influenced by the likes of Jay Sekulow, who is doing everything in his power to take away rights from others, even as far away as Zimbabwe.

Sounds like he is severly closeted homosexual taking it out on others. Why else would he be so concerned about homosexuality?
