Tiga releases new music video for ‘Plush’
Tiga is an enigma of a person—a person who would be the first to laugh at himself. Often overlooked but never forgotten, he is cheesy in all the right ways. He has worked with the likes of Soulwax and James Murphy, created the cult club classic “Mind Dimension,” and produced two albums that blended funk and electro.
Today he released a music video for his new song “Plush.” Plush is an ’80s throwback- typical of Tiga. Don’t take it from me though, take it from the man himself:
“’Plush’ was inspired by 80s dance TV shows like Pelvic Gold and The Bandana Patrol, as well as my undying love and respect for the city of Detroit,” says the Montreal musician from his home in Montreal. “It’s the first of what I know will be many collaborations with Matthew Dear, a sort of musical friendship bracelet that will bind us unto eternity.” -Tiga
The video blends still screen with movement. It is pretty much just the song played over a video of him standing with four hot girls. Check out the music video below plus an extra cheeky satirical interview with the Canadian.
