Beck covers David Bowie’s ‘Sound and Vision’ with 170-person orchestra


Lincoln (cars, that is) recently debuted its “Hello Again” ad campaign, which aims take a new look at the luxury car. The campaign is not solely focused on cars however—the company is looking to “transform classic works into entirely new, fresh, original creations.”

For one of the first transformations Beck has teamed with famed director Chris Milk (Arcade Fire) for a special one-time performance of David Bowie’s “Sound and Vision” with an orchestra of 170 musicians. This will be recorded using the latest 360º equipment allowing the viewers to move within the environment and change the direction of the audio in real time.

The video will be shown online February 10th. We look forward to seeing what other tricks Lincoln has up its sleeve for this campaign. Check out the trailer for the performance below.
