The New Jersey home where the Boss lived for two years (1974-75) when he wrote the rock anthem “Born to Run” was put on the market Friday morning. Susan McLaughlin of Keller Williams Realty is marketing the 71/2 West End Court address as a “Landmark Jersey Shore Cottage” and claims, according to local hearsay, is also the location in which Bob Dylan was arrested in 2009.
The asking price for the two-bedroom, one-bath is $349,900 — a bit high, if you ask me, to purchase a residence at which, says McLaughlin, “buses of tourists stop there all the time.” Not a selling point, IMHO.
