For the second day in a row Facebook’s servers stopped working. This prompted users to get on other social networks and find out why their lives are so meaningless.
For the past hour or so Facebook has been unavailable to users, the site says it might be slow for some, but what that really means is that it’s not working for anybody. This is clear by the trending topics on Twitter and Google.
As of right now, three of the top nine trending topics on Twitter are related to Facebook being down.
The trending topics on Google are even more disturbing. Two of them are directly related to the servers being down, but there are two that make us question society’s existence. The seventh trending topic is “Farmville.” Are people’s lives this pathetic that they can’t go 30 minutes without Farmville and they have to go to the all-knowing Google to ask why they can’t collect any more points on a game that could have been released in 1995?
But the most shocking trend has to be people searching “Myspace.” Did Facebook going down act as a time machine bringing us back to the year 2006?
The last time most people logged on to Myspace Vampire Weekend was just a group of kids going to an Ivy League school. Myspace is the number five trending topic on Google right now, and while it’s shocking that people are even going there, what’s more shocking is that people have to search for the address. That’s like asking for the number of 911.
For everyone’s sake, we hope Facebook comes back soon. We don’t want to have to start using Myspace again, or actually picking up girls in real life.

Thats because most people do not have it booked marked or feel its just faster for them to type it into google and click the url then typing it, as they have google as their homepage
Thanks for your opinion though.
