Lady Gaga Banned From Lower East Side Dive Bar

Former denizen of the LES gets banned in her former hood.

For the past year or so anyone following pop culture has probably been suffocated by the torrential media storm that hails from this quasi-talented ex-junkie turned musical sideshow freak.

The very mention of her name is like kicking a dead horse—no one cares anymore—so for this I apologize. But I can’t help to feel some sort of warm tingly feeling when I heard that the LES bar Parkside Lounge banned Lady Gaga music from their juke box.

Only a stone’s throw from Gaga’s previous hovel on 176 Stanton Street, Parkside Lounge has apparently suffered one Gaga song too many. The jukebox now bares a handwritten sign warning patrons, “NO LADY GAGA. You Play, You Pay! It will be turned off and your $ will not be returned. THIS IS YOUR WARNING.”

This move seems to be a general act of goodwill benefiting society as a whole and helping to lessen the relentless noise pollution that engulfs New York City.

In other Stefani Germanotta news, there is now a video of 15 year old Gaga’s cameo appearance on “The Sopranos”—unfortunately it is not one of her being shot and buried by Paulie Walnuts. The scene is pretty uneventful and Germanotta actually looks like a normal teenage girl—it is pretty hard to believe one used to exist under her clown suit.
