Hero lady rips Mitch McConnell a new one over Obamacare repeal

Congress is in recess, which means lawmakers are getting their asses torn to shreds in town halls dedicated for constituents anxious to voice their concerns about the imminent Obamacare repeal. Well, the ones who are showing up to their town halls are getting chewed out. There are plenty that don’t have the stones to look the people who they will take health coverage from in the face.

One such Republican who did show up to his scheduled town hall was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who was greeted by several hundred protesters outside of Tuesday’s event in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

“I don’t think anybody ought to be alarmed about citizens expressing their point of view,” McConnell said before taking questions. “It doesn’t bother me one bit.”

One spirited women decided to put that to the test when she unloaded on McConnell about the coalminers who not only lost their jobs, but are now facing a lifetime of health problems as a result of coal mining and are afraid of losing the only insurance they can afford.

“The last I heard, these coal jobs are not coming back and now these people don’t have the insurance they need cause they’re poor,” said the newly minted folk hero. “And they worked those coal mines and…they’re not getting what they need. If you can answer any of that, I’ll sit down and shut up like Elizabeth Warren.”

You can pinpoint the moment when McConnell’s entire body goes numb and his head tries to retreat into his neck during the woman’s righteous tirade. Extra points to her for trolling him in regards to the Elizabeth Warren incident at the Jeff Sessions confirmation hearing.

This still accurately expresses the shell shock.
